Prenatal yoga is both energising and relaxing. It serves to facilitate balance throughout the exciting and exhausting process. Yoga was integral throughout Michele’s own pregnancy and she especially loves teaching these classes.

Prenatal Yoga

Gentle yoga postures are used to help ‘mums to be’ cultivate strength, flexibility, stamina and breathing practices that will assist them throughout pregnancy, labour and motherhood. Much of the focus is on gently opening the hips, toning the pelvic floor and relieving lower back pain as well as other common pregnancy related discomforts. Each class ends with a long guided relaxation.

Prenatal/Postnatal Massage

Massage during pregnancy can help to relieve tension and pain commonly associated with pregnancy, especially in the neck, back and joints. Benefits also include enhanced respiration, circulation and lymphatic drainage, supporting the body’s natural functions and baby’s needs. It can help reduce stress, physical and emotional, improve sleep patterns and speed postpartum recovery.
