Yoga Foundations

Spend some time exploring the breath (Prananyama) and deepening your understanding of fundamental yoga postures (Asana) that create the basis for developing a strong personal practice. We will look at balance, alignment, energy and space in the postures.

Expect to float out, both relaxed and energised, after a full-length guided Yoga Nidra, or deep relaxation practice. Bring warm socks and jumpers. Blankets and eye masks provided.

See Michele’s post, “Why do we do Downward Facing Dog?”  to read more on this foundational posture and why it features in the Yoga Foundations workshop.
